TorPeas restaurant was built in 1860, originally as a farmhouse that was later converted to an Inn.
This beautiful weatherboard building has been tastefully restored into a 70 seat licensed restaurant, with its own bar area, outside seating areas and open fire places throughout.
At Torpeas we pride ourselves on providing excellent quality of service, a friendly family environment coupled with delicious home cooked meals to suit all palettes.
We use local suppliers where possible, for example:
- we use the excellent Braidwood Butchery - they source much of their beef and lamb from neighbouring farms
- the delicious Dojo Bread you will find on our menu, is from a small artesian bakery in the heart of Braidwood
- plus a variety of local growers,
enabling us to create sensational seasonal dishes from the freshest ingredients and limit the food-miles of your meal.

- happy hour between 5 pm and 6 pm every day, all house drinks $4 includes James Squire on Tap
- 7 nights per week, 5 pm - late (10 pm Sun & Public Holidays)
Cafe: Weekends and Wednesdays from 9 am to 3 pm
